This policy explains what information hauteblowdry.com collects, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be impressive.
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you and keep the correspondence only as long as it is useful for that purpose.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles are read and how people arrive. It records information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device type, browser and referring site.
- Server and security logs. Our host and our content delivery network record requests, including IP address and user agent, to serve the site and to block abuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish repeat visits from new ones. Our content delivery network may set a cookie for security purposes. If we later show advertising, advertising partners may set their own cookies; this policy will be updated before that happens.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, though some measurement will be incomplete.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s browser add-on, or by blocking the analytics domain in your browser or an extension.
Children
This site is aimed at adults working in or around the salon trade. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
When this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the substance of the change is described here rather than silently swapped in.
